[ This network conversation with Cloud has been weighing in her mind for a good while. Ayaka... her precious graceful, sweet, soft-spoken friend has a boyfriend!!! One of her dearest companions has found love!!!! And she can't be any happier for her. Ever since that day, Yoimiya has spent many nights gleefully rolling around in bed, giddy at the thought of her wonderful friend finding someone who cares about her deeply. She has so many questions, many forms of congratulations to give out. However, Ayaka has always been a busy bee, it wouldn't surprise Yoimiya if her friend had other matters to attend to, especially now with her and Kaveh's art festival collaboration. So, she figures it's best to bid her time and wait for a day without all the hustle and bustle.

Finally, Yoimiya can no longer take it, her curiousity getting the better of her. Sometime in the middle of the afternoon, Ayaka's phone gets blown up with a string of texts: ]

Are you free today? I'd like to come over and visit if that's okay!

Hello, Yoimiya! I hope you have been having a good day thus far. ｡ﾟ( ﾟ^∀^ﾟ)ﾟ｡

I am free today, yes. Please come visit! I'll prepare some tea for you when you're near.

I saw this really pretty cake roll that reminded me of you!

[ About fifteen minutes later, there's a loud knock on the door of the Kamisato apartment that's shortly followed with a familiar voice yelling: ]

AYAKAAAA!!!!

[ Yoimiya's voice is capable of powering the entire city of Ellipsa. ]

Y- Yoimiya?!

[ Goodness! Was she being chased outside?! Ayaka opens the door right away, looking rather frazzled upon doing so! ]

Please come in!

[ Fortunately there's no wolves, just a loud girl standing in the doorway excited to see her friend. As soon as the door opens, Yoimiya's eyes shimmer upon seeing Ayaka and she practically bounces inside like a puppy, a small white cake box tucked underneath her arm. ]

Ayaka! Hehe, thank you for having me!

[ If she had a tail, she would be wagging it! But huh, is it just her imagination or does she seem kind of surprised? Hmmmm. ]

Are you okay? You look kinda startled!

[ It never even crosses her mind that she was shouting like a deranged person... I'm sorry your friend is like this. ]

O- Oh! I'm fine.

[ Seeing as Yoimiya doesn't seem to be in any trouble, Ayaka finds no reason to ask what was wrong anymore. Maybe it was a prank...? She gives the other girl the space she needs to come in, closing the door once Yoimiya's safe and inside.

It is cosy and quaint, so much different from the interior in the Kamisato Estate in Inazuma. For Ayaka, this is home for now! She hopes to have an actual house eventually, where she can have a garden and more space for hobbies and for everyone else. ]

Please make yourself comfortable. I'll make some tea.

[ 🤔 ??? Oh well! As long as Ayaka says she's fine, then that's what matters in the end!

As expected of the Kamisato siblings, the interior of the apartment is beautiful, Yoimiya feels like she's in a storybook with how neatly each piece of furniture is placed and how quaint the entire vibe is. It's so welcoming, she already feels cozy just stepping into the living space. ]

Your hospitality is unlike any other. [ Ayaka does such a good job at making anyone feel comfortable. ] I'll get the cake ready.

[ She takes a seat on the couch, placing the cake box on the coffee table to open it's contents, a hand-crafted sakura cake roll. ]

[ It is unfortunate that she doesn't have a matcha making tea set yet, because she would like to serve matcha instead of sencha whenever special guests are over. Once she has a job, though? She will be able to buy more things that she likes, and she's immensely looking forward to that day.

For now, she bows her head before leaving Yoimiya in the living room so that she can prepare the water and the tea set. A couple of plates are also brought out, as well as a knife and forks for the snack her friend has brought! It doesn't take long for the water to be ready (electric kettles are SO CONVENIENT!!!!), so she's back out after a minute with everything on a tray.

Once she's set everything down on the coffee table, she pours the loose green tea leaves into the tea pot to let it steep. A couple of minutes should do before the tea is ready, but in the meantime? They can chat! ]

I apologise if I haven't reached out since we last met. Ayato has arrived, you see, and there was the matter of finding a means to making the arts festival come true.

[ From the polite way she bows her head, to the wonderful aroma of the green tea, being in Ayaka's presence makes her feel like she's receiving first-class hospitality. While the tea is brewing, Yoimiya takes the knife that's brought to the table and starts to neatly cut the cake roll. Once the two slices are prepared, she carefully places them on the plates presented to her. ]

Ah, don't worry about it at all, Ayaka! I should have reached out to you but I figured you were busy working on the arts festival with Kaveh. That kind of planning takes a lot of time and effort.

[ The mention of Ayaka's older brother is wonderful news, Yoimiya's beams with joy upon hearing of his arrival. Although it's a little strange that this place keeps pulling in people from Teyvat, it's such a blessing that the siblings were able to reunite, that's more important than anything else. ]

Ayato is here too?! How wonderful! Are you two living together?

Yes. It feels a little daunting, since I don't have any influence in this world, but I would still like to do something fun like this.

[ So yes! She is a busy bee, but she likes what she is doing! :) ]

And yes, he does! I'm fortunate this apartment has two rooms. I'd saved the other bedroom for Ayato in case he ever arrived, though I certainly did not expect it to happen so soon.

Thoma lives next door, as well.

[ Her heart is buzzing with warmth, filled to the brim with happiness hearing that Ayaka is having fun organizing the festival. ]

Hehe, it's precious you've been preparing for his arrival here. [ It almost feels like fate. No matter what world they are in, the Kamisato siblings are always destined to reunite. ] Ah, the three of you are inseparable. It's wonderful that Thoma is living so close to y'all as well.

[ It truly is wonderful, Yoimiya!! She is so lucky to have so many people she cares about here. While this isn't the most ideal of places to live in, Ayaka wishes to make the most out of this experience. If she can help more lives here? Then she knows she is doing good.

And she seems to perk up at the topic of Cloud. By now, she's pouring tea for the both of them— Yoimiya's cup first, of course! ]

Yes! I was worried we would be separated from one another when we first arrived, but we found out that our apartments were right next to each other's. Hehe, it was rather funny.

[ Seeing the way Ayaka brightens at the mention of Cloud warms her own heart like no other... It's precious, Yoimiya so happy to see her so happy and in love. Further confirmation in her mind that her friend found the right person to be with. ]

That's so cute! Almost as if it was fate and this place wanted to bring the two of you together.

[ The aroma of the green tea is excellent, Yoimiya easily finds herself lost in it's fresh scent. She's so blessed to be in the presence of Ayaka's tea brewing skills. ]

So, I think you probably already know I spoke with Cloud over the network? I've been meaning to tell you this but congratulations on the man! [ She giggles, sending a wink her way. ] It's so exciting to see you dating someone.

Cloud asked for help on what to tell you, hehe.

[ So yes, she knows! Sorry for not telling you, Yoimiya! But her beau needed support at that time, and she's sure he wanted to make a good impression on one of Ayaka's friends from home, too.

It isn't very easy to be open about these things to people who aren't family, or Cloud himself, so she still feels a bit shy around Yoimiya. Her cheeks are red, and her voice has softened some by the time she responds to the congratulations. ]

I truly am so very lucky to have met him.

[ And even luckier that he cares for her deeply. Ayaka had liked Cloud from the moment they met. A small crush at first, and all she wanted to do was get to know him better and be his friend. She wasn't expecting anything in return, especially not her feelings being returned. And yet, here they are. Cloud was even the one who reached out to her first, showed he cared deeply about her, and even moved cities just to be closer to where she lives. It is why when she says she is lucky, she means it. Cloud is so amazing, so kind and so sweet, and such a good person. She's sure so many people like him. And yet, he chose her. He wanted to be with her. Just Ayaka. ]

Because of Cloud, I have been able to experience a kind of happiness and love that I've never felt before. Never in my entire life.

[ Please forgive her... she is just far to happy whenever talk of Cloud is involved. She's set the teapot down and hasn't touched the cake, placing a hand over her heart as she tries to calm herself down. They're just talking, and she is getting so excited!! ]

[ Listening to her earnest words fills Yoimiya's heart with immense bliss. Throughout the entire time she's known her, Ayaka has always been so busy, working tirelessly to ensure the people of Inazuma are well taken care of. It's so wonderful to see her find her own happiness. ]

So it is true that a prince from a faraway land managed to steal the heart of our nation's Shirasagi Himegimi.

[ She giggles, remembering those words he sent her through text. There were a lot of factors in Yoimiya's quick acceptance of Cloud but that specific line earned her seal of approval. It might have been embarrassing for him but it was so sweet and romantic that she couldn't help but be giddy for her friend. It has all the makings of a fairy tale romance. The mental image of a blonde-haired prince sweeping Inazuma's Shirasagi Himegimi off her feet makes for a lovely, picturesque scene right out of a storybook. ]

That's so wonderful. I'm so happy for you, Ayaka. Just from the small conversation I had with him, he seems like a great guy. With how cautious he was in approaching me, I can tell he cares about you a whole lot.

[ Ayaka placing her hand over her chest makes Yoimiya all the more excited to listen to her!! She's going to encourage her to keep talking about him, chatting about topics Ayaka enjoys brings her joy and she's been dying to know more about their relationship. ]

Do you mind telling me the story of how you two realized your feelings for each other? Only if you are comfortable, that is!

[ It fills Ayaka's heart that Yoimiya is happy for her. She'd wanted to introduce her to Cloud for some time now, talking about her when they were still in Nippon. Whenever she gets to share a piece of her to Cloud, and a piece of Cloud to others? It makes her feel whole. It is a happiness that is just for her.

Being asked how they realised their feelings for one another, Ayaka can't help but think back to such a fond trip to Nara. ]

I had liked Cloud from the day we met, and wanted to get to know him better. Even if he only saw me as a friend, I wanted to be there for him and support him, because he has been nothing but thoughtful and kind towards me.

We had a meal together, and I told him that I would be leaving for another city to see the sights for a few days. It was not planned, but he said he would come along, as well. He accompanied me around the city on the first day.

[ She'll share with Yoimiya what she thinks can be shared, but some details, perhaps can be omitted. Cloud having a nightmare and she comforted him, being forced to share a bed because there weren't any other rooms left... ]

On the second night, we went to see falling stars together. They said that if you made a wish on the rainbow-tailed star, then it would come true. [ She wished to be closer to Cloud, then. And that very same night, he made her wish come true. ] Come morning, we would travel back to Kyoto, and he would go back to Tokyo afterwards, because he lived a few hours away.

He said he was looking to move to Kyoto, and as he was saying it, he was looking at an omamori I had gotten for him. [ As she keeps talking, Yoimiya will notice Ayaka's cheeks grow redder and redder. She's no longer looking at her friend as she continues with her story, too. ] My heart spoke for me, and I asked him if I was his reason for moving to Kyoto without even thinking.

And— and then he k- [ Ayaka had been sounding so calm and so in-love talking about Cloud this whole time. But now??? Now??? She gets embarrassed. ] He k—

[ SHE CAN'T SAY IT... SHE CAN'T SAY THE K-WORD ]

[ The whole time Yoimiya listens to Ayaka's lovely recollection, she's completely silent, utterly enraptured by her story. At this very moment, all she wants is for her friend to speak to her heart's content. Ayaka has always worked hard for the benefit of others, seeing the Shirasagi Himegimi speak her mind, full of happiness fills Yoimiya with bliss. Every tidbit melts her heart, their love story sounding like a sweet romance right out of a fairy tale.

She also files a mental note in the back of her mind to ask about Nippon! Just from the bits and pieces she's heard, it sounds like Ayaka's been through a lot during her time there. ]

That's gotta be one of the most romantic stories I've ever heard. My heart feels like it's pounding just listening to you.

[ The aroma of the tea is wonderful but Yoimiya is so enchanted by Ayaka's tale that she's pretty much forgot about it and the cake. Her golden eyes are shimmering, growing wide with all the details. Ayaka is so happy and in love and she feels so blessed to listen to this wonderful story. It also helps confirm her suspicions on Cloud after speaking with him, he truly is a kind and thoughtful person. Any tiny lingering worries she might have had is put to rest hearing that, she's relieved to know that he's going to go above and beyond for Ayaka's happiness. ]

It really does make her happy that Yoimiya is happy for her. Love, not just hers, should be celebrated. If Yoimiya ever told her about her boyfriend (or girlfriend), if she got one? Then she would be so happy for her, too! She would visit Yoimiya with some sakura mochi and ask to be told stories! Right now though, she is the one telling her story, one where she feels so fortunate that she met Cloud. She firmly believes that she wouldn't be able to be this happy if not for him. ]

It is romantic... And I have always loved the stories in fairy tales of princes whisking away princesses, or the love that triumphs all in Guuji Yae's light novels. This... [ She pauses, because it feels a lot to say. It is how she truly feels though, her heart being poured out because of one person. ] This is so much better than anything ever written.

[ And she can so openly talk about it because they aren't in Inazuma! She trusts that Yoimiya wouldn't tell anyone about this willy-nilly. Looking at her friend now, she smiles, despite how red her face is. ]

I don't think anything like this could happen in Inazuma.

Being in love must be nice! It's a wonderful feeling that should be cherished. She's so happy just listening to Ayaka, she can't imagine how blissful her friend must feel talking about her beloved. Throughout the conversation, she can't deny that her own thoughts have drifted off to a certain rascal Fatui Harbinger. Feelings are truly a complex matter, she's still trying to come to terms with her own. One day, she would like to giggle over tea and share her own story of... whatever this thing she has going on with Tartaglia is but the heart of the matter (He's a Fatooey!!!) is a bit of a difficult subject.

For now, Ayaka has her full attention!!! ]

Romance stories truly are divine. The entire time I listened to you, my whole chest felt warm. [ She's giggling, clearly having the time of her life. ] I kept imagining you as the lovely Princess who fell in love with her Prince Charming at first sight but it's even more wonderful than Lady Guuji's light novels since it's real.

[ She's right, having the freedom to do whatever they want, be with whoever they want, nothing like this is possible in Inazuma. ]

For sure! I'm really happy we have the chance to be here. Especially since you're able to be here with Cloud.

Ayaka can't help it, but she summons her fan to cover half of her face, finding it both such a happy thing, yet an embarrassing thing at the same time. Being this open isn't something she is used to. Cloud has given her such a safe space to be herself, but learning to be the kind of girl that Cloud is able to see around others is still a little challenging.

Still, she wholeheartedly appreciates Yoimiya asking about Cloud. Being able to share her happiness in this way is something she's... never really done before, come to think of it. Then again, she's never really loved anyone in this way before, either! ]

I am amused you brought cake here just for that, hehe. [ She didn't have to bring cake! Ayaka likely would have told her things about Cloud even if no cake was involved. ] Though, I ask that we keep this to ourselves.

You may share it with Cloud, of course, but...

[ With others? She'd prefer to be the one to tell them. After all, this is very personal to Ayaka. ]

[ she went down the wrong path and is too far gone... ayaka, take this as a lesson and don't ever be like her! SAVE YOURSELF!!!

More giggles chirp out of her lips as she watches Ayaka cover half her face with her face in the most adorable, precious way possible! Not only is she happy that Ayaka is in love but she also found someone to rely on, someone to share her hopes and aspirations with, and most importantly, be happy together. Whatever challenges they might face, Yoimiya is certain they will be able to overcome them together. ]

Hehe, when I went to the bakery, noticed this cake roll in the display case and just had to pick it up! As soon as I saw it, I immediately thought about you. [ She giggles. ] Besides, talking about boys over cake and tea has been fun. We don't get to enjoy chit chat like this back home.

[ It's nice that they finally have the freedom to do whatever they please. ]

Of course! You can count on me to not tell anyone else. I feel like I'm bursting with joy that you shared this wonderful tale of romance with me.

Something like this could not have happened in Inazuma.

[ Getting to spend time with Ayaka is always a treat but hearing such a lovely tale of romance made this day all the more special. As much as she misses home, being away from Inazuma has it's merits and Yoimiya is looking forward to having more moments of peace with her friend. One day, she'll have a story to share and she can't wait for that time to come. ]
