Earl Grey sounds wonderful. { with them sorted for their choices, he'll make the order by calling a staff member over, going through their list one by one to double check he got everything. ayaka can probably also notice he doesn't respond to the 'you must choose next time' as well, avoiding saying anything about it. }

I thought we could begin with a visit to an aquarium of sorts. They have a large selection of sea creatures that were saved before the darkness spread. There may be some we can see that we haven't seen before. I thought it would be quite peaceful.

Oh, that sounds exciting!

[ Ayaka and Cloud had gone to an aquarium in Nippon before. It was a fun date! And they tried not to eat sushi at the restaurant, but they ate sushi anyway despite all the fishies they saw... ]

Will there be a show, as well? I went to one with Cloud before, and there was a cute "sealion" who did tricks for us.

Oh, I believe so? There were certain times listed for each activity they have on offer. I thought in this case after we've just eaten it won't be too difficult for digestion.

I am assuming there are creatures that are native to this world in the aquarium, as well. Have you ever gone there before?

{ since aquarium's are usually full of activities to help parents keep children occupied, he's fairly certain there will be lots to do. neither of them really had much of a childhood -- and while ayaka may have had more of one than him, even she won't have had the joys of this in her youth. }

I have not, no. I haven't been to many of the places that are available for entertainment, actually. Just a few places.

[ With how much they ordered, it will take some time for everything to be served. At least there are many things she and Ayato can talk about, though! Ayaka never seems to run out of things to tell Ayato, even though they see each other almost every day and even live together. ]

If you have planned a special day just for us, would this mean your preparations for Thoma's birthday would be even more grand?

{ it's nice to see, honestly, ayaka is out and about much more nowadays. it's wonderful to see her bloom. especially in a place she can be more like herself. }

Oh? I'm not sure grand is the word I'd use. Though I'm sure I'll think of something different for us to do together.
